    Growth of graphene on 6H-SiC by molecular dynamics simulation

    Classical molecular-dynamics simulations were carried out to study epitaxial growth of graphene on 6H-SiC(0001) substrate. It was found that there exists a threshold annealing temperature above which we observe formation of graphitic structure on the substrate. To check the sensitivity of the simulation results, we tested two empirical potentials and evaluated their reliability by the calculated characteristics of graphene, its carbon-carbon bond-length, pair correlation function, and binding energy.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure

    This research discusses on the analysis of International law on the seizure of assets in South East Asia countries according to UNCAC and AMLAT. Questions posed are (1) how is the implementation of International law principles on the seizure of assets based on UNCAC and AMLAT? (2), what are the forms of International legal instruments on seizure of assets in South East Asia region? The research shows that (1) the implementation of International law principles in seizure of assets in South East Asia differs from one another due to the existene of national interest principle as legitimation of asset seizure refusal fromrespective countries.IntisariPenelitian ini membahas mengenai analisis hukum Internasional dalam perampasan aset di negara kawasan asia tenggara berdasarkan UNCAC dan AMLAT.     Latar Belakang : daun lidah buaya (Aloe vera) mengandung metabolit sekunder flavonoid yang berfungsi sebagai senyawa antioksidan danmenstimulasi pembentukan GSH (glutation) sehingga memberikan efekhepatoprotektor berupa penurunan aktivitas enzim alaninaminotransferase (ALT). Tujuan : penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efekhepatoprotektor dan dosis efektif ekstrak etanol lidah buaya (Aloe vera)pada tikus putih jantan galur Wistar dibandingkan kurkuma melaluiindikator enzim alanin aminotransferase (ALT). Metodologi: penelitian inimerupakan jenis penelitian eksperimental rancang acak lengkap (RAL)dengan desain pretest dan posttest. Sebanyak 30 ekor tikus putih jantangalur wistar dibagi secara acak ke dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan, yaitukontrol negatif (CMC 0,5%), kontrol positif (kurkuma), dosis I (1000mg/kgBB), dosis II (2000 mg/kgBB), dosis III (4000 mg/kgBB) yangdiinduksi parasetamol satu jam kemudian selama 7 hari. Data dianalisismenggunakan uji One-way anova yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Post-HocLSD. Hasil : Uji skrining fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol lidahbuaya (Aloe vera) mengandung flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin, saponin, dansteroid. Hasil analisa statistik menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermaknapada rata-rata aktivitas enzim ALT kelompok kontrol negatif dan positifdengan kelompok dosis I, II, dan III ekstrak etanol lidah buaya (Aloe vera)(p<0,05) pada pengukuran aktivitas enzim ALT setelah perlakuan(posttest). Dosis efektif yang didapatkan adalah 4000 mg/kgBB.Kesimpulan : Ekstrak etanol lidah buaya (Aloe vera) memiliki efekhepatoprotektor berupa penurunan aktivitas enzim ALT yang lebih baikdibandingkan kurkuma pada dosis 4000 mg/kgBB.Kata Kunci : Aloe vera, ekstrak etanol lidah buaya, parasetamol, aktivitas enzim ALT, hepatoprotektor.1) Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas 3 Tanjungpura Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat.     Method And Implementation of MPLS Tunnel Selection On Nokia Metro-E Devices

    Tunneling is an interconnection solution between local networks separated by remote over a public IP. The current issue does not have proper guidelines for using tunneling techniques. Tunneling selection is generally only based on the beliefs and experience of network management operators or following SOP. The brand of tunneling device is widely used by telecommunication operators in Indonesia (especially P. Java) is Nokia. In this study, implementation, testing and analysis of MPLS techniques on Nokia devices to produce recommendations when to use MPLS tunnels according to network topology appropriately. The software used in this study was FTP, Tfgen and Wireshark. FTP and Tfgen as network traffic generators and Wireshark to record throughput, delay and downtime. Analysis of MPLS on Nokia devices is conducted based on recording results for various traffic engineering scenarios including loadless conditions, and various other conditions in case of network disruption. Mpls research results when without load all went well with an average throughput of 1.08 Mbps and delay of 10 ms. When with load has a stability delay of 10 ms, when when network disruption using ICMP get 1 Request Time Out or 4s. MPLS techniques are used on established networks because it can provide alternative density lines

    Integrating an agent-based model of malaria mosquitoes with a geographic information system

    Agent-based models (ABMs) are used to model infectious diseases and disease-transmitting vectors. Malaria is a deadly infectious disease in humans, transmitted by Anopheles mosquito vectors. Although geographic information system (GIS) has been used before with ABMs, no ABM-based malaria study showed the usage of custom-built spatial outputs integrated within a modeling framework. In this paper, we show how to effectively integrate a malaria ABM with GIS-based, spatially derived parameters. For a specific study area, we process GIS data layers, create hypothetical scenarios, produce maps, and analyze biological insights. Results indicate that availability of resources and relative distances between them are crucial determinants for malaria transmission. The maps also reveal potential hotspots for the measured variables. We argue that such integrated approaches, which combine knowledge from entomological, epidemiological, simulation-based, and geo-spatial domains, are required for the identification of relationships between spatial variables, and may have important implications for malaria vector control. © 2013 DIME UNIVERSITAT DI GENOVA

    Genderang kebijakan sertifikasi sudah dimulai sejak tahun 2006 dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan system pendidikan nasional dimana Indonesia pada tahun 2015 menurut laporan pisa indonensia berapa peringkat 62 dari 72 negara, dengan adanya kebijakan ini diharapkan tingkat pendidikan menjadi semakin baik yaitu dengan dimulainya dari peningkatan kompetensi guru. teori yang digunakan Shabbir Cheema dan Dennis A. Rondinelli yaitu melihat Kondisi Lingkungan, Hubungan Antar Organisasi, Sumber Daya Organisasi, Karakteristik dan Kemampuan Agen Pelaksana. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif memeiliki prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa lisan atau kalimat tertulis bukan angka dan sifatknya kontekstual. Di Kabupaten Majalengka program sertifikasi masih berjalan dengan baik hanya saja masih ditemukan beberapa kesalahan tekhnis yaitu kurang siapnya operator dan kurang mengetahuinya guru akan persyaratan pencairan sertifikasi. menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan Studi kasus terhadap 2 Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Majalengka yang menghasilkan bahwa program serifikasi sudah berjalan dengan baik hanya saja masih kurang pada indicator struktur birokrasi dan komunikasi

    Indonesia lies at a meeting of active tectonic plates, mountain path active, temperate and tropical regions; making the most of its territory is prone to natural disasters. Based on the theory and the concept of disaster management (disasters management) which includes several stages: the stage of emergency response (response phase), phase of reconstruction and rehabilitation, preventive stage and mitigation and preparedness phases (preparedness); the disaster management efforts must be supported by a adequate information system. Geographic Information System (GIS) helps in determining the policies and coordination in disaster occurring in a disaster area, giving supplay logistics, building barracks, as well as post-disaster construction. By using GIS, it is hoped will be easier for decision makers to know the mapping of areas vulnerable to natural disasters. Due to the SIG will be described also the location of sites of natural disaster areas clearly.In this writing will be described a web-based GIS system to provide complete information regarding the geographical conditions such as weather, volcanic mountains, wind conditions and heat conditions of the territory of Indonesia.
